Playoff Time

The Thunder have one more regular season game until the playoffs start. They are coming off back to back losses against the Indiana Pacers Sunday, and the New Orleans Pelicans last night. Last nights game was a bad loss vs the Pelicans who only had 8 players suited up, and players playing who have been out of basketball for several years.

The Thunder end the regular season tomorrow night against the Detroit Pistons. Back to back sixty win seasons are out of the question now, but the Thunder still need to have a little momentum going into the playoffs.

If the season ended tonight the Thunder would play the Dallas Mavericks in the first round. The Mavericks play the Grizzles tonight to see who has the seventh or eight seed.

Playoff basketball is back in the OKC, and all is well with the world again!

The Streak Is Over

The Thunder are getting healthy at the right time of the year. With the playoffs starting April 19th, the Thunder have everyone back from injury. Thabo returned Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings, a game which the Thunder won easily.

Kevin Durant had a streak going of scoring 25+ for 41 consecutive games. The third longest streak in NBA history. Durant scored 23 and didn't play the fourth quarter, because the Thunder had such a large lead and were playing the next night against the LA Clippers. "I am glad the streak is over," Durant said. It tells you what kind of player Durant is, it's more about the team than about himself.

The Thunder won a huge game last night to end the four game road trip 2-2. They beat the LA Clippers in a hard fought game with keys plays by Russell Westbrook down the stretch 107-101. Westbrook scored 30 points and had 11 assists, with a huge tip in dunk to seal the game.

Next game is tomorrow night at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
